Darüber hinaus muss auch gewährleistet sein, dass eine Anwendung stabil und ohne unerwünschte Seiteneffekte funktioniert, wenn unvorhergesehene Eingaben und Ereignisse auftreten. Das gilt besonders für Server-Applikationen im Bank-, Telekommunikations- und Automatisierungsbereich, für die Betriebssicherheit/Safety und Angriffssicherheit/Security unabdingbar sind.<br /> <br /> Ein explorativer Tester versucht, von den Entwicklern möglicherweise nicht vorhergesehene Ereignisse zu provozieren. Während das bei GUI-Anwendungen durch manuelle Tests mit Maus und Tastatur möglich ist, müssen für den Test von Server-Anwendungen komplexe Protokolle bedient werden, und das oft in mehreren Schichten.<br /> <br /> Der Vortrag zeigt anhand von Beispielen aus dem Telekommunikationsbereich mit dem Testwerkzeug expecco, wie exploratives Testen von Service-Schnittstellen funktioniert und geht auf die Voraussetzungen ein, um als explorativer Tester im Serverumfeld erfolgreich zu sein.<br /> <br /> ===Zur Person===<br /> <br /> Stefan Vogel greift auf über 25 Jahre Erfahrung als Software Architekt für objektorientierte Systeme zurück.
